This beautiful yellow 1956 Ford F-100 custom pickup is the product of an extensive ground-up restoration and build completed in traditional Hot Rod fashion with virtually no possible expense spared. The body is smooth as glass and fastened together with stainless-steel bolts. It also features a few tasteful modifications including a chrome factory grille rear rolled pan frenched taillights and a smoothed tailgate fitted with custom latches and struts opening up to a beautiful wood-lined cargo bed.
Underneath select features include a custom fuel tank with the filler cap smoothed into the rear passenger-side fender. The chassis has been converted to a modern Mustang II independent front suspension with rack and pinion steering while a 4-link setup locates the Ford 9-inch rear end with limited slip. Finishing off the underpinnings are a set of AFCO coil over shocks 4-wheel disc brakes and 18-inch Coys C5 chrome wheels wrapped in BF Goodrich G-Force T/A rubber. Muscle is delivered by a 428 big-block Ford V-8 engine equipped with a Holley 750 carburetor and topped off with a set of vintage Cobra Jet valve covers and numerous dress-up goodies from Lokar. A C6 automatic transmission routes the 428s power to the rear end. Spent gases are removed dual 2.25-inch exhaust system with electric cutouts. Everything has been highly detailed and painted to match the body color ensuring everything under the hood and the underneath the F-100 looking every bit as good as the exterior does.
Inside the truck you are welcomed by a full-custom Tan leather interior with an integrated center console dividing the power-operated bucket seats and housing a Lokar shifter Vintage Air climate controls and Pioneer stereo unit. The dash is nicely appointed with full Dolphin gauges monitoring vital functions and mounted inside a stainless bezel. Steering is handled by a Flaming River column finished off with a half-wrap billet steering wheel. Smoked glass and side windows are converted to power operation with hidden switches. Simply outstanding from top to bottom this classic F-100 custom truck drives just as good as it looks.
