For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1971 Chevrolet C/10. This short bed has just underwent a full frame off restoration. We're seeing more and more of the muscle car/track car themed builds. They offer a lot of performance and handling while still being the highly sought after classic C/10 pickup. Power comes from a mild 350 that makes a great sound thanks to its NASCAR themed exhaust outlet. Painted in bright red with black and gold accents really set this truck off. It has a lowered stance and has the appearance that its ready to tear up an auto cross course. However, the lowered and aggressive stance has not compromised the ride quality. You can still enjoy a few hour drive in this truck and not feel like your fillings are loose. UP front is a splitter to help reduce the amount of air that passes underneath the truck and increase down force. The rear also has a lip style spoiler incorporated into the tailgate. Finishing off the exterior is a set of sticky Falken Azenis mounted to 20 inch aluminum wheels. The front tires measure 245/40ZR20 and the rears are 295/40R20. Behind the wheels is a set of 4 wheel disc brakes offering great braking abilities. Inside the theme continues with racing bucket seats, chassis stiffeners, custom mounted shifter and a set of aftermarket gauges to keep you well informed. In case you prefer the sound of music over the V8 rumble, there's an AM/FM radio. Here's a bonus, it's also equipped with a new A/C unit to keep you comfortable during the hot summer days.
