Vehicle Description
The dream is to have a turnkey classic American muscle machine
that's a head-turner on the outside, complete & comfortable on the
inside, and a rumbling V8 under the hood. That's why we present to
you this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.
Let's start with the color because that's going to grab a lot of
attention. It looks close to the rare factory Dusk Blue, but it has
the unmistakable shine that comes from investing in a more modern
hue. The shiny paint works with super straight bodywork, to offer a
combination that truly stands out on arguably the most iconic body
style for the Camaro. The Coca-Cola bottle design lines are
accented by all the right SS features, including the cowl induction
hood, front air dam, D80 rear spoiler, and an unmistakable white
D90 "hockey stick" stripe that stretches from the fenders to the
doors. Of course, it wouldn't be a true 60s machine without plenty
of chrome on everything from the nicely integrated bumpers to the
upgraded five-lug Centerline wheels.
If you like how distinctive the exterior blue is, then you'll be
even happier when you peek inside. Sure, black looks great on
muscle cars, but the deep blue is a great way to keep that dark
spirit but give this Camaro a distinctive interior. Plus, this one
has all the features everyone wants, including a center console,
horseshoe shifter, and the quad gauge set for the oil, fuel,
temperature, and battery. Plus, there's plenty of upgrades like
newer covers for the bucket seats, newer dash padding, and a
Pioneer AM/FM/Cassette stereo. This mix of original pieces and cool
upgrades is best seen when you sit behind the Grant sports steering
wheel. After all, you get the original speedo, but the upgrade to
the large AutoMeter Sport-Comp tach instantly lets you know there's
something beastly under the hood.
We know the fenders say 350, but when you open the hood you
immediately know that's a bit of a fib. That's because the engine
bay is filled with even more displacement. This is a 400 cubic-inch
motor and it only gets better when enhanced with a 3/4 cam, Holley
750 CFM four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock air gap intake,
performance distributor, and aluminum radiator w/electric fan. The
total package is rated at around 400 hp. Adding to both the
performance and the V8's ferocious growl are a set of long tube
headers that feed the 3-inch H-pipe dual exhaust. And while this
motor is all about power, you'll also be happy to know it has been
given good investments in maintenance that includes new hoses, new
belts, serviced heads, and a rebuilt carb. And making sure all this
power reliably gets to the ground is a stout TH350 three-speed
automatic transmission that feeds the 12-bolt rear end.
You've seen how terrific this total package is - from the monster
motor, to the cool blue inside & out. So when you can find it on an
iconic '69 Camaro that's also this affordably priced, then you know
how quick you have to act to take it home. Call today!!!
