1972 Lincoln Continental Coupe, 2-Door Hardtop
I'm the third owner, and purchased the car in 2015 from a gentleman who kept it garaged in New Mexico for the previous 25 years. The car is all original, with the only two modifications 1 I replaced the points system with an electronic ignition the vehicle starts up instantly now, and I also put in new Flowmaster mufflers and a dual exhaust system from the manifold back to the bumper see photos. The paint job is the original Ford Pastel Lime, and has virtually no chips or defects. All chrome trim is intact, and the car has brand new tires and brake pads and shoes done August, 2016. The trunk lining is slightly worn but intact, and includes the original jack and tire iron. Windshield wipers and retractable radio antenna work perfectly. On the interior, the only flaw is a small area of wear on the seat fabric near the door on the upper driver seat see photos. The only function that doesn't work is the clock. A/C and heat work perfectly, all power seats and windows work perfectly I replaced 3 of the 4 window motors, and all electronics work. I've put about 800 miles on the car in the past two years. It drives beautifully, and never fails to get whistles or thumbs-ups from motorists all over town. What makes this car stand out is there are many 4-door Continentals, but very few 2-door models. The sporty and aggressive look makes this Lincoln a real head-turner.
