A Great Performance Sports Car
The black color-change respray is fresh and has nice depth showing off the car’s great lines like no other color can. Just detailed, it looks great! Not a show car but one you will want to show off.
The frame and underside of the car are free of rust (see pictures).
The engine compartment is detailed and shows off the new 454.
The custom seats and upholstery is all in like-new condition—finished in two tone leather—as are the door panels.
The removable T-top looks new given the recent respray.
This car has a freshly rebuilt 454 big block engine that was sourced from a ’72 Camaro. These enhancements were incorporated into the engine during the rebuild:
It has all the components to make this 454 big block into a real threat to other pretenders.
The TH400 3-speed automatic overdrive transmission was freshly rebuilt and shifts properly. Lending a hand to harness the power of the engine is a Hughes 2500 torque converter. Keeping it cool is a Derale Performance transmission cooler/fan with SS Proflex lines.
Suspension and steering components were replaced with Lonestar Caliper Company parts.
This 454 Stingray has 4 BF Goodrich 285/60R15 tires that have most of their tread remaining which are mounted on TrueSpoke Rims (wire wheels).
All of the safety equipment—lights (other than the tag light), wipers, horn, and turn signals all work as do the tachometer and speedometer. Similarly the gauges all, but for the oil pressure, work. The car sports competition seat belts.
