At first glance, it may look like a standard 1946 Ford with a classic burgundy exterior color and all the factory trim in place. This one even sports the standard steel wheels with chrome Ford hubcaps. It's not until you notice the white letter radial tires that you'd guess this one has been modernized underneath. Pop the hood and you'll find a modern fuel injected 5.0 Liter V8 with all the goodies: power steering, power brakes, and even air conditioning. It's been beefed up a bit with a mild aftermarket camshaft and a TrickFlow intake as well as headers. Front disc brakes and rack and pinion steering help up with handling. The body has been completely restored and finished in a good looking coat of burgundy paint. The contrast well, the interior has tan cloth upholstery with front bucket seats. The dash has custom gauges that offer full instrumentation. A proper Banjo style steering wheel steers the ship. Since being built, the rod has traveled about 3,000 miles so all the kinks have been worked out and it has more than proved itself.
