1969 Mercury Cougar XR7 Convertible.
This is a highly original cat that retains its original drive train numbers matching. Car has been repainted in the original Dark Ivy Green Metallic and the top has been replaced. Both are in great shape. The interior is completely original. The motor has been rebuilt but it was left in the original state. I purchased the car from the original owner who took great care of the car and kept impeccable records of all the work done on the car. He special ordered the car and even kept the window sticker and owners manual. There are tons of receipts covering everything from the rebuilt motor to the repaint that all come with the car. The car was ordered with lots of options such as; A/C still working styled steel wheels power steering power disc brakes 351 4V and a Heavy Duty Suspension A very rare option. Since this car was a dependable driver it actually runs extremely well.
Only 4024 69 Cougar XR7 convertibles were built so this is one cool and rare cat. You would be hard pressed to find a car this old that has been taken so well car of for its entire life.
