This 1954 Buick Skylark is named "Betty Boop" and it is an Ohio car traced back to the original owner. The body was rotisserie restored and has no fillers, remaining 100 per cent steel. Painted in an original Matador red with a deep clear. The body is built to high standards by Chris Stevenson and not modified. The custom leather interior is by Rick Seeley retired but known for custom leather airplane and car interiors. It is done as original with the Waffle pattern. Has original Wonderbar radio and instrumentation. The car has the original rare Skylark parts and appears as stock. The frame is a custom 1954 Buick frame with a rack and pinon subframe and a 4-link triangulated rear end. A 1965 Riviera drivetrain with a 425 "Nailhead" SP400 transmission and a Posi rear end are incorporated to match the original body dimensions without any body modifications so the car can be put back to OEM if desired. The look is stock but the horsepower is doubled and the handling is outstanding.
