Vehicle Description
STK 2019 1986 Ford Mustang LX The Mustang Fox-body was Ford's most
popular sold pony car in the 1980's and with good reason; it was
sharp, sleek and everybody wanted one. Finding a clean Fastback
with the original 3.8 Liter...priceless. When you open the hood,
you have to look twice to see that it is actually a 3.8 and not the
5.0 Liter V8 which was notoriously, historically driven hard and
put up wet. The V6 was less stressful on the body and a potent
street contender that was just as fun to drive stop light to stop

the GT urethane ground effects that are the first to deteriorate,
this Mustang LX appears younger than it actually is and in nice

classic as you get the thumbs up as you drive down the highway. The
stock interior features a Grid pattern dashboard that was
futuristic for its time, neatly organizing the driver's instruments
and gauge cluster. The power windows and cruise control add to the
value for a trip to the local car show or cruise in. The T handle
shifter in the console is classic 80's and the factory console
clock still functions. The gray cloth seats look good and the
factory AC will help you stay cool in summer. The carpets and
overall interior appear original, signifying this car had a
relatively easy garage life. The engine is a 3.8 liter V6 that has
traditionally proven itself as a faithful work horse and the
transmission is a legendary 3 speed C4 transmission. C4s remain
popular with hot rodders and drag racers due to their simplicity
and durability. The original pony wheels have survived and are
wearing 215/60/16 Radials on all four corners. The nicer Mustang
Fox-bodies that are still around today are going up in va
