1988 Porsche 944 Turbo S with 77k miles. Two ownership history (2nd
owner dating back to 2002). Maraschino Red Metallic exterior over
Light Grey Porsche script interior. No accident history or rust! A
paint gauge confirms the paint is all original except the drivers
door which was re-sprayed at some point. All VIN tags are present
on every panel. There are various dings & scrapes that have been
touched up, but as stated it's all original and rust free which not
all 951's can claim. The interior is clean with no rips or tears.
The dash, headliner and door panels are all in really nice
condition with no cracks or defects. There are no oil leaks present
and a timing belt service was documented in 2015. The air
conditioning works, the brakes are in good condition and the tires
have 80-85% tread-life remaining. This 944 Turbo S runs and drives
very well. The engine pulls hard and it shifts effortlessly without
any slop while selecting gears. The Turbo S designation was offered
in limited numbers, only in 1988 as option code M758. According to
Car & Driver, the Turbo S had the most potent four-cylinder engine
in the world. The engine & suspension upgrades were conceived for
the cars that competed in the Porsche Turbo Cup race series in
Europe. Besides a more powerful engine (M55/52) and upgraded koni
suspension (M030), the Turbo S received larger front brakes (shared
with 928S4), Clubsport forged wheels and a limited slip
differential among other features listed. Turbo S production
worldwide was reported to be only 1635 or 1653 depending on the
source. Approximately 715-718 were sold in the US market and only
51 in Maraschino Red. Comes with 2 sets of keys, books/manuals and
recent service history. For more information or questions, call
