For Sale at Auction: 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

Benefiting from the styling prowess of GM's styling studios led by Harley Earl, the 1953 Cadillac model lineup provided ample proof as to why the top GM Division gained supremacy over America's luxury market. Inspired by the Motorama travelling shows, the Eldorado infused the Cadillac line with great excitement. Technology, long a Cadillac strength, was heralded by the advanced V8 engine, displacing 331ci and delivering 210hp. Series 62, the long-wheelbase Series 75, and the Series 60 Special set Cadillac far above its in America, and the world, for that matter, especially with available and extra-luxurious and desirable Fleetwood-built bodies. This good quality, unrestored survivor example of the 1953 Cadillac Fleetwood sedan retains the original paint and interior with just 34,259 original miles (title reads mileage exempt). Features include Cadillac's famous and powerful 331ci OHV V8 engine, Hydramatic automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, and full hubcaps. Offered from the Gordon Apker Collection, it is a fine example of Cadillac's postwar leadership and its Golden Anniversary in 1953.
