For Sale at Auction: 1967 Austin-Healey BJ8 in Scottsdale, Arizona

Vehicle Description

The Austin Healey 3000 Mark III BJ8 is renowned for being the best of the breed from the Abingdon works. These were the final cars produced by Austin Healey and they benefitted from everything learned by the company in competition at Sebring, Mille Miglia and LeMans. The BJ8 received roll up windows, 2+2 seating, servo-assisted brakes, overdrive, walnut burl dash with center console and a revised 2.9-liter 6-cylinder engine making 150hp. The increase in power came from a pair of 2" SU HD8 carburetors, a new exhaust system and a revised camshaft profile. This Healey was restored several years ago and has aged well during its storage in a climate-controlled facility. The Old English White paint is in good condition as is the black Ambla vinyl interior and black convertible top. The car retains its original engine which is in good condition and a strong runner. Full documentation from the Heritage Motor Centre in the U.K. is included.
