Vehicle Description
This US Military 5-ton 6x6 AM General M923 cargo truck is powered by a massive 14-liter naturally aspirated inline-6 Cummins diesel engine develops 240hp at 2,100 rpm and 685 ft/lbs of torque at 1,500 rpm. The ABS brakes were retrofitted in 1999 for safety. It's a full-time 4x4 with a 2-speed transfer case. It has power steering for ease of operation and 5-speed Allison automatic transmission makes driving simple. The wheel base is 14' 11" and the drop sides on the 7x14' bed allows for fork-lift loading. It also comes with collapsible troop seats and overhead bows with a canvas cover. Vehicle has four high-capacity batteries and operates on a 24-volt system. Current odometer reads 32,600 miles.
