The Bronco has been a hero to 4-wheel-drive enthusiasts since it hit the market in the mid-sixties. It followed the launch of the Mustang by about a year, and some of the same Ford engineers worked on both vehicles. No surprise then, that the Bronco was the only small 4-wheel drive at the time with a V8 engine. This terrific 1970 example is powered by a 302ci V8 and produces a healthy 205hp and shifts gears through a 3-speed manual transmission. Meticulously nut-and-bolt frame-off restored over a 10-year period, this all-purpose 4-wheel drive vehicle is in exceptional condition and ready for show or go. From every angle, the quality and care in the restoration shows, from the laser-straight body panels to the beautiful Sky View Blue paint (one of 599 in this color) and careful assembly of the highly detailed components. The attractive interior is roomy and features a full-width bench seat in parchment-colored vinyl, fresh air, heater and defroster as well as the optional radio. Purchased new in Bedford, MA, this all-purpose 4-wheeler had been kept in the same family until 2015 and has accumulated only 75,893 original miles in 45 years. Included with the Bronco is a Deluxe Marti Report as well as genuine Ford shop manuals which detail all of the factory information for this tough off-roader.
