Vehicle Description
This is the kind of truck to get excited about. Every inch of this
1970 Chevrolet C10 pickup has been gone over to give it a fantastic
presence on the street. From the mirror black paint, to the
enhanced small block, to the overdrive transmission it's a true
custom with an undeniable presence.
The light shines off of this Chevy as if they made black mirrors,
and the full effect is a truck that can lurk in the shadows. Of
course it wouldn't be able to pull of this slippery midnight
appearance if it were not for the exceptionally straight sheetmetal
that has been given a serious investment in erasing decades as a
workhorse. And with such a clean shine on the paint, only the best
brightwork will do on the bumpers, grille, and trim. But all this
excellent presentation so far is not what first grabbed your
attention. We know this truck had you hooked from the moment you
saw the red stripes on the hood that have kissed by expertly
applied flame graphics (the total package of Harley Davidson black
and Indian red makes for a pickup you can be proud to park next to
any chopper!) And this one has all the best details, too, like the
LED headlights, tailgate pinstriping outlining the CHEVROLET, and
large 18-inch BOSS Motorsports wheels that follow the great glossy
black of the paint.
The interior continues the red and black theme. There has been a
serious investment in new components that you notice from the
moment you hop inside. The bench seat has a new cover that carries
the factory embossed design, so it's quite a nice match for the
door panels. There's a B&M Quicksilver shifter calling your
right hand; your left one will love the new Chevy three-spoke
sports steering wheel; and beyond that is a great new set of
gauges, including large tach. The AM/FM stereo has been upgraded,
so now there's an aux input for you iPod. And while all of these
are great modern upgrades, the one option we know you'll love the
most is timeless. Nothing beats when you can open the side vent
windows, slide open the rear glass, and let the breeze run through
the cabin in the way only a vintage truck can.
Under the hood, the engine bay looks just like the exterior with
the dark fender walls and valve covers with just the right hints of
red. Plus the bright air grabber truly reminds you this is a "Bad
Bowtie." And when you look beyond the style, you'll see the
substance of an enhanced small block. The 350 cubic-inch motor is
believed to be bored to 355. And to it has features like a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake, and Mallory ignition.
Plus, adding more performance and a great rumble are the headers
that feed the dual exhaust. But don't mistake its great muscle
truck presence for this Chevy's only virtue. It has power steering,
front disc brakes, and the trailing arm rear suspension that makes
these C10s so desirable. Plus, with more modern upgrades like the
four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive and the grip of BF
Goodrich gForce tires, you're looking at an all-around superior
cruising machine.
We've got a file on all the receipts that make this custom pickup
so desirable, but we already know you fell in love/lust from the
moment you saw it. And you're not the only one who want something
this turnkey cool, so hurry up and call today!
