Vehicle Description
Finished in Citrus Green, this Z/28 features a black interior that is very original and correct. It's powered by the date-code correct 1970 LT1 350/360hp V8 engine that was professionally rebuilt 1,000 miles ago and comes with receipts. Rebuilt to correct factory, 11:1 specifications, it is also equipped with the correct 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt Chevrolet rear end with new GM shocks. The LT1 engine has its correct carburetor, intake manifold, air cleaner assembly and exhaust manifolds. The interior is fresh with no modifications, rips or tears in either the seats or carpet and features a GM AM radio and under-dash-mounted speaker. It has the rare-for-1970 three-piece spoiler as well as a front spoiler and reproduction spoiler brackets. The holes for the spoiler were in place on the front fender. A Norwood, OH-built car, the Z/28 is on the original Trim Tag. The paint is nice and correct. It also has a spare and jack, original tail pipes in trunk along with the air injection rails and smog air pump. It rides on a set of brand-new correct-size Goodyear Polyglas tires over correct wheels. It's had no rust ever. It also features a new Gardner concours-correct exhaust system. This car runs, drives and handles wonderfully. The Certificate of Authenticity from Jerry MacNeish and Trim Tag leave no doubt this car is a correct, factory Z/28. Documentation includes a set of original keys, Protect-O-Plate, owner's manual, and Kodak photo of the car in the 1970s.
