Vehicle Description
The Southwestern Bell Telephone company traces its roots to the Missouri and Kansas telephone company which was founded in 1882. It was consolidated under Bell system with Southwestern telegraph of Texas and Arkansas in 1912. In 1917, it was renamed Southwestern Bell Telephone Company which today is known as AT&T. This 1955 first-generation 3100 was an original service truck for Southwestern Bell and still carries all of its original service equipment and tools. It was fully restored and has been in a museum on display showing the history of our telecommunication. It's powered by a 235ci 6-cylinder engine with 3-speed manual transmission.
