Vehicle Description
This car has undergone a completely photo-documented, three-and-a-half-year rotisserie restoration. It has the factory, matching-numbers YS-code 400/335hp engine and TH400 automatic transmission with Hurst dual-gate shifter. It has the original Quadrajet carburetor and factory air conditioning. It has PHS paperwork including a copy of the Build Sheet and the factory Protect-O-Plate. It has been repainted in the factory SS-code Champagne with factory Medium Gold interior. It's equipped with the original WD-code 2.93-ratio rear axle, factory power steering and power drum brakes. This car was purchased new on October 11, 1966 in Little Rock, AR. Later, it was traded-in with only a few hundred miles on it. It was purchased and driven until 1987 when it was parked until 2012. At that time, the frame-off restoration was started. All the bad metal was properly cut out and replaced. The engine and transmission were sent off to get fully rebuilt. Both the frame and body spent many hours on the rotisserie getting the attention they needed for a show-quality restoration.
