Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a car for the driving enthusiast: a 2006 Porsche Boxster S. Porsche stepped out of their typical rear engine layout when they introduced the Boxster as their entry level, mid engine, roadster. The Boxster was the first true roadster produced by Porsche since the 550 Spyder. Early versions sported a 2.7 Liter flat six which grew over the years to become the 3.2 Liter Flat 6 found in this 2006 Boxster S. The "S" model got about 40 more horsepower than the standard version and was designed for the enthusiast. With nearly 300 HP and a lightweight nimble chassis, these are true sports cars and make carving back roads an absolute dream. Of course, there's tons of luxury goodies as well: leather seats, power everything, AC, power top, and all the safety features. This one has the optional Tiptronic automatic transmission with manual mode. For daily driving, you can putt around town with an automatic, but when you're ready for some spirited driving, hop into manual mode and wring out the flat 6. This particular example is finished in a beautiful blue on the exterior with gray leather interior. With only 81,432 miles on the clock, there's still a lot of fun to be had in this Boxster.
