Vehicle Description
This fresh professional frame-off custom restoration took five years to complete. The 406ci blueprinted engine was custom built by Richard Catton, a 680 lift roller motor creating 650hp according to its specifications. The custom-designed and engineered EFI system is housed in all-original mechanical 1964 fuel-injection components. It's also equipped with an Art Carr 200R4 automatic transmission and Tom's 3.70 rear end. It has 1-7/8" step headers with 3" exhaust front to rear. It rides on one-off copy of original 17" Grand Sport rims. The intent was to build a C2 that took design and performance cues from the Grand Sport with a modern drivetrain and would be a sleeper. Its cosmetics are excellent with Glasurit 21-line paint, triple-plate chrome and Al Knoch factory-correct interior with a 200 mph speedometer. It has rare tuxedo interior. Everything works great.
