Vehicle Description
The car was totally disassembled and stripped to bare metal. First was the chassis rebuild which consisted of frame sandblast and paint, new upper and lower control arms, all-new bushings, steering gear, frame connectors, front and rear springs, 4-wheel disc brakes, upgraded shocks, central traction bars, gas tank, sending unit and new lines. Next was the engine and drivetrain: A 427ci Corvette engine with Edelbrock polished intake and 4-barrel carb was added. Also installed: Tremec 5-speed transmission, 12-bolt rear end, heavy-duty high-flow water pump, new heavy-duty radiator, coated headers and exhaust. Lastly, the body was stripped and any damaged sheet metal was replaced including front fenders, inner fenders, core support, and hood and body mounts. The body was sealed and painted custom Tuxedo Black with Purple Pearl and clear coated. It also features all-new glass, wiring, retro electric headlamp doors, custom dash, underbody lights and houndstooth interior. It rides on Billet Specialties polished wheels wrapped in 245x45 17" front with 255 x 45 17" rear. Other upgrades include power seats, power windows, power locks, power antenna, new console and shifter, custom mirrors, new Fesler fender braces, hood hinges, tail lights and power trunk.
