As popular as these cars were for all 25 years produced and with the fan base behind them, Chevrolet just stopped making them with no fan fair, no announcement and no final car set aside for posterity. This Elco has what is believed to be 95,187 original miles and numbers matching drivetrain. This El Camino remains almost entirely stock, with the only apparent modification being the addition of an aftermarket radio. This is the Conquista model, which was an option package that brought two-tone paint and upgraded interior appointments. This car has had a repaint at some point during its life, but it was repainted to the factory style two-tone paint. The great thing about the later El Caminos is they came well equipped, and this car is no exception.
