Restored 1948 Ford F-1.
Not your typical 48 truck, this one has a 72 nova frame with a 351 Windsor V8 and a C-4 transmission. 650 CFM carburetor 4 barrels with vacuum secondaries. Power steering and brakes. Heater and a 7 inch fold out touch screen radio. She has been restored for six years and driven on and off. Runs like a charm, having taken the engine out and swapped for a crate engine with all new bolt on parts from Summit Auto Parts. Documentation for every service and part is kept and comes with the truck.
Originally restored this truck when I was younger with my grandfather. It is all steel and mechanically very sound. The body is not perfect but with very minimal rust having been taken down to the frame, inspected. The cab was left on the frame but otherwise everything else came off. All of the steel parts were sanded down to the metal and filled in with bondo where needed. We did order new side panels for the bed which has marine varnished poplar wood. Both bumpers, the grill and running boards were replaced by LMC. Custom made exhaust to accompany the dual headers.
