Vehicle Description
Impeccably finished in correct and rarely seen Glen Green Metallic, this fabulous Stingray is the product of an excellent restoration. Every effort was put forth to maintain a high level of originality with this rare and desired Corvette. The engine is the L84 327/375hp Ram-Jet fuel-injected V8 with 4-speed manual transmission. It is the correct block with matching VIN, casting number and HN-suffix code. It also features correct distributor, alternator, fuel-injection unit and knockoff wheels with newer gold line tires. Interior features include a teakwood steering wheel, power windows, Soft Ray glass, telescoping steering wheel and transistor ignition. 1965 was the first year for 4-wheel disc brakes on Corvettes, and it was the last year a Corvette had factory fuel-injection, until it was brought back in 1982. It has an ownership history back to 1977, along with an NCRS Shipping Data Report and receipts on file. This Corvette has been fastidiously maintained and properly stored since restoration.
