Vehicle Description
The Douglass Yenkos departed from the Canonsburg cars in specific details and are all included in this re-creation. They include dash-mounted passenger grab bar, polished stainless drip rail, wheel arch and side louver trim, optional special body-color front bumper, black vinyl top, front- and rear-mounted Blue Bowtie badges, rear spoiler and Jack Douglass Chevrolet sticker on the taillight panel. This Yenko has gone through a complete frame-off restoration and has less than 500 miles since it was restored. Photos and documentation of the restoration are included. The period-correct casting number 427ci engine is mated to a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt posi-traction rear end. No detail was spared including the factory chambered exhaust, traction bars, Torque Thrust wheels, power steering and front disc brakes.
