For Sale: 1972 GMC K15 in Denver , Colorado

Vehicle Description

Worldwide Vintage Autos is pleased to present this 1972 GMC K15. We scour the country for vintage cars and trucks like this and we rarely come across one like this! You must see and drive this rare GMC! HISTORY In 1971, GMC marketed their version of the Chevrolet El Camino, which was based on the Chevrolet Chevelle. Called Sprint, it was virtually identical to the El Camino, and a sport version, the SP, was equivalent to the El Camino SS. In 1973, with GM’s introduction of the new "rounded line" series trucks, GMC and Chevrolet trucks became even more similar, ending production of GMC’s quad-headlight models, and setting the standard for the Chevrolet/GMC line of trucks for over thirty years. During this period, the companies' sister models (Silverado/Sierra, Blazer/Jimmy, Tahoe/Yukon, etc.) shared everything except for trims and prices. GM has recently begun a divergence in design between the two lines with the 2007 model Silverados and Sierras, which have some differences in sheet metal and style. The cost of parts and restoration of these vehicles are increasing daily. They are not making any more and, therefore, they are becoming more rare by the day. Buy one complete and ensure your investment for the future. Doing a restoration / customization project on a GMC Truck like this would cost over $20K not including the vehicle itself. Don't do the work yourself, get one finished for roughly half of the cost of building it yourself!  An excellent investment and something you can enjoy daily. Collectible vintage vehicles have historically appreciated at a rate greater than that stock market, gold and other arts and collectibles as documented by many articles and auction result tracking.   NEED MORE DETAILED INFORMATION?
