This Olds Convertible is a beautiful re-creation Hurst. Under the hood is a period-correct 455ci engine painted the correct hue of red and topped with the Hurst-specific outside-air induction air cleaner and chrome valve covers. The transmission is also a period-correct TH400 automatic. Inside the car is a beautiful black bucket seat interior accented by the Hurst-specific dual-gate shifter and factory Oldsmobile options such as the sport steering wheel and the factory 8- track player. A Vintage Air system has also been added to the car. The body wears the correct shade of Cameo White with Fire Frost Gold striping, which is also carried into the Hurst-only SSII wheels with the chrome outer lip. The car also has the entire Hurst Appearance Package, such as the iconic mailbox-style hood scoops with the 455 callouts, the rear spoiler and dual bullet-style racing mirrors. In addition, this car has the large Hurst "H" on the doors as the original convertibles did. The car was just treated to a frame-off rotisserie restoration completed in November 2016.
