Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1964 Chevrolet Corvette
for purchase. In 1963, the Corvette launched its 2nd generation
with the birth of the Stingray with a complete redesign barely
resembling its predecessors. The Stingray was lighter, had
independent suspension, and was aerodynamically tested. The only
American cars that could produce similar speed were large, heavy
Super Stock optioned Mopars and Super Duty Pontiacs. For the first
time, the United States had mass produced a true all-around sports
car.
This '64 Corvette is offered for sale for the first time since 1990
out of a private collection. It was freshly and professionally
restored in 2015 in Tuxedo Black with black interior. The paint and
chrome show excellent with a soft top in top shape as well. It's
powered by a correct 327ci 300hp V8 engine paired with the 4-speed
manual transmission. It also features Dayton wire wheels with
knock-off spinners, dual exhaust, pop-up headlights,
high-performance intake, Hurst shifter, new ring & pinion gears,
and more! Cruising doesn't get much better than a C2 roadster on a
beautiful day! Please call or email for more details!
