restored 1946 Fat Fender Hot Rod that has been lovingly kept by the
previous owner for the last 11 years! It's full of style and drives
and sounds excellent! This solid and straight full-fender Ford
sedan catches your eye with its fabulous vintage shape and vivid
red body. The paint and trim are in very good order, as are the
crack-free and clear glass panels. The lights are in similar good
shape, complete with blue dot taillights. A closer look reveals a
gorgeous set of steel wheels in matching body color, with bright
Ford-logo hubcaps and beauty rings within wide whitewall BFGoodrich
Silverton radial tires. Chrome bumpers and body bright work add
just the right accents. All of this retro rod's body panels are
straight. But while the body is righteously retro, the lowered ride
height definitely says "rod." So does the powertraina small-block
V-8, dressed out in chrome accessories, dual exhausts and installed
into an extra-clean engine compartment. The engine is mated to an
automatic transmission. Inside, a custom interior pampers the
driver with air conditioning, custom billet dash with black-face
VDO gauges, a four-spoke, billet steering wheel on a GM tilt column
from the 70s or 80s and split front bench seat with color-matched
red and gray fabric upholstery and door panels, gray carpet and
headliner. Rounding out the interior is a Pioneer AM/FM stereo with
CD player. Take the charm of the 1940s styling, add the operational
improvements of modern running gear and top with a tastefully
customized interioryou've got the recipe for a '46 Ford that hits
the sweet spot of an enthusiast's street rod. Competitors to this
Ford in 1946 included Chevrolet's Fleetmaster Sports Coupe, Dodge's
Custom Club Coupe and Hudson's Super Six Club Coupe. This car is
currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current
mileage on the odometer shows 20,108 miles. It is sold as is, where
is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND
