Benefiting from a freshly completed cosmetic, frame-on restoration, this Galaxie convertible features two-stage base/clear Corinthian White paint with Rangoon Red trim. A complete new reproduction interior was also fitted, in Rangoon Red with white and silver Mylar trim, a new dash pad, and new instrument cluster. All bright work was restored including bumpers, stainless and aluminum trim, and emblems. The undercarriage was cleaned and repainted as well. The 352 cubic-inch 2-V, V-8 engine runs excellently though a factory dual exhaust system and is mated with a rebuilt 3-speed Cruise-O-Matic with receipts. The engine bay is completely detailed and this vehicle drives as good as it looks. Five new, correct whitewall tires, a new black convertible top with pads and rear window, plus a new top boot are other highlights. This vehicle was a rust free Southern California car and a perfect candidate to restore. The owner states they have driven this vehicle all over Southern California and it is a pleasure to drive, being capable of being driven anywhere and very freeway-worthy.
