Finished in Wimbledon White with blue stripes, it looks like the real thing. It even has an authenticated autographed Carroll Shelby on the glove box door, and a reproduction Shelby serial number plate. Under the hood is a Paxton Novi 2000 supercharged Mustang 5.0 small block Ford power plant. Modifications include an Edelbrock Performer Intake with 70mm Throttle Body, MSD Ignition, JBA coated headers, and Serpentine belt system with 130 amp polished alternator. The 5.0 is backed by a T5 5-speed transmission with exact replica '66 Mustang linkage. A 9" Ford posi-traction rear end puts the power to the ground. The original front suspension has been replaced by a TCI independent front suspension system with power rack & pinion steering. 4-wheel disc brakes, Wilwood in the front, provide the stopping power via TorqThrust style wheels and BFG Radial T/A tires. The interior is restored from top to bottom, including all of the small chrome pieces. Upgrades include competition seat belts, IDIDIT tilt steering column, new replica gauge cluster with Autometer gauges, wood steering wheel with authentic center cap, 9,000rpm Shelby tachometer, Alpine stereo in original location and Lokar billet pedals. This replicar looks original, but handles and performs like a modern car. No expense was spared in the restoration and upgrades to assure the performance and driveability. It would be too lengthy to list all the new parts that have been purchased and installed on this '66 Mustang, so all receipts have been saved, and will be included with the car.
