From the Burlini Collection.The last true woody ever produced was
the 1950 Town & Country. Only about 125 left in the country out of
590 built! 1950 was also the only year they made a 2 door hardtop.
This is a very well preserved original car with restoration as
needed. Numbers and codes are correct. All of the chrome was
redone. The windshield surround was removed and restored. Even the
spotlight was rechromed. Has a smooth mirror like finish. Original
paint in jambs with 2 oil change stickers from the 1950s! Rust free
body and floors. The wood is in excellent shape. Interior is
impressive. Correct ribbed cloth and soft leather that's perfectly
broken in. Dash, door panels, carpet and headliner is in great
shape. Art deco handles. Clean, well preserved trunk compartment
with original carpet liner, jack and a whitewall spare. Notice the
heavy duty trunk supports for the heavy lid. Cleaned up, original
motor compartment. Motor purrs beautifully. Impressive
automobile.
