environment of Indian Wells, in the California desert. This model
was the most expensive vehicle offered by Rolls-Royce at the time
with a base price of $359,900. Currently garaged and pampered, the
vehicle's odometer reads a remarkable 15,674 original miles. If you
are seeking a Corniche of this vintage you have located your
vehicle. Powered by a 325 hp turbo-charged V/8, matched to a
4-speed automatic transmission the car performs flawlessly. The car
is outfitted with every conceivable refinement including Connolly
Leather upholstery, Wilton Wool carpets, plus genuine exotic
hardwood trim and appointments with masterfully applied clear-coat
finishes. All remain in excellent original condition. Music is
supplied by a six-disk CD changer. Air and heat are provided by
dual automatic temperature controls. Automatic head-lamps and
automatic ride control are standard. Power seats, power windows,
power door locks and the electric convertible soft top are all
functional. The exterior and interior of the vehicle remain in
excellent condition with a few minor flaws: A paint scrape was
noticed on the rear driver's side wheel well. (see photo) There is
a shallow door ding above this area of the fender which was too
minute to photograph. The interior leather upholstery is excellent
except for the driver's seat side lumbar has scuffs and a tear
which will need repair. (see photo) The back convertible soft top
window has become cloudy most likely due to age. All chrome,
exterior paint and the pinstripe are wonderful. The interior inlaid
hardwoods and clear-coat are very well preserved. The
convertible top will not close properly and will need repair.
