Lot #1336 - Fully frame-off restored, this has an all-new GM Performance crated C7 LT1 motor with 460+hp, GM wiring harness and computer, and new L470E automatic transmission with overdrive. The exterior was done in special PPG Charcoal color with red and blue pearl added with PPG clear. The modified factory frame was done in silver to match the interior, with the suspension matching the exterior. Riding on custom-built 20" Billet Specialties wheels, the Corvette's front suspension consists of Jim Meyers tubular A-arms with Viking adjustable coilovers and power rack & pinion steering. The rear end is a polished Currie-built Ford 9" with Tru Trac posi-traction, shortened Dutchman axles and 3.90 gears, and a 4-link rear suspension with Panhard bar and Viking adjustable coilovers. It has power disc brakes with Wilwood 6-piston front calipers and 4-piston rear calipers, as well as drilled and slotted rotors with emergency brake. The custom-made interior features lowered billet pedals, Flaming River tilt steering column with smaller billet steering wheel, power windows, Vintage Air, and billet door handles and hood stops from Ringbrothers. The interior also has a custom dash with Dakota Digital gauges and custom silver lighting, custom center console with a custom-built stereo system featuring a Kenwood receiver that is DVD, iPod, Pandora, Bluetooth and Sirius XM-ready. A 12" Kenwood subwoofer with 300-watt Kenwood power amplifier, built-in Kenwood speakers and power antenna round out the system. It has gray leather reclining seats with ostrich accents from Al Knoch Corvette Interiors and a fully covered leather dash. Other features include a Be Cool polished-aluminum radiator with electric chrome fan and power hood with a '67 Corvette-style hood with stripe painted to match the interior. It's equipped with a 3" polished stainless-steel exhaust, with MagnaFlow stainless mufflers exiting through the lower body panel in front of the rear wheels. The new soft-top frame supports a custom grey soft-top with gray cover for protection when it's down. The trunk is fully covered to match the interior. Everything is like new, with many custom features, including a custom-built LT1 engine cover, custom headlights, plus special fasteners and custom turn-signal mirrors. No expense was spared - it took over two years to build. This fantastic street rod 'Vette was built to drive and enjoy with all of today's latest technology while retaining the original '62 look.
