L48 Roadster for your consideration. The second generation corvette
was pattered after the Mako Shark ll designed by Larry Shinoda and
executed under Bill Mitchell's directions. The chassis and many of
the components were carried over from previous years, however the
body was a complete redesign and quite different than anything on
the road and to this day, remains one of the most recognized road
going cars built.
The 1975 Corvette offered here remains highly original with an
older repaint. The car is powered by its original, numbers matching
L48 engine and turbo 400 automatic transmission. Options include:
Factory Air Conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power
Windows, Leather seats, Tilt Steering Wheel, 15 Inch Rally's,
Luggage Rack, factory hard top, 3 spoke steering wheel, AM / FM
radio, console etc. The car features just over 11000 believed to be
original miles. The owner states that the interior remains
completely original and the original interior is excellent in all
areas. Under the hood, the original 350 V8 remains completely
original, and complete with all ignition shielding, correct cowl
induction air cleaner, correct clamps hoses, and original hood
insulation. The original frame and underside is structurally
excellent and show excellent in all areas. Other highlights include
new exhaust, newer hoses and BF Goodrich Radial TA white letter
tires.
Mechanically, this 1975 Corvette is one of the best driving
Corvettes of this vintage that we have had. When purchasing 2nd
generation Corvettes, quality always takes precedence. Cars of this
caliber have more to give and will always remain a proven
investment.
