Ford began production of its Bronco in 1966. These trucks were built to compete directly with international Harvester and Jeep. Ford, however, added utility to the mix. Bronco's drivability and off road capability made them useful not only at the ranch or off road, but also in town and over the Highway. Their design and capabilities instantly made them a favorite among of off road enthusiasts and to this day, remains coveted vehicle among the 4X4 community and collectors around the Globe.
The 1976 Bronco offered here came from Texas and is a nice and straight truck. According to the previous owner, the 302 v8 engine was rebuilt 19,000 miles ago. The original automatic transmission was also said to be rebuilt. The rear gas tank was upgraded, making the only tank functioning be the rear one. It has a new starter and the owner also said the brakes were gone through. There are disc brakes in the front and drums in the rear. This truck also has power steering and a rear mounted full size spare tire. The Bestop soft top is fully functional and very convenient if you run into rain while out enjoying this truck.
Whether you are looking for a collector piece, something to get ice cream in, or hit the muddy trails, this truck can do all these things. Don't miss out on this opportunity to own a nice bronco.
