CRUISIN CLASSICS is lucky to present to you an automatic, 1965 Oldsmobile Cutlass 442 Convertible with only 72,932 miles. This car is a treat for us to be around because it has all of the things necessary for a comfortable cruise not only functional but in your mind as well. It is a very beautiful convertible with the Red exterior, white interior and the white top which is in like new condition. (clean and clear back window). The drive is a pleasure. One fingered steering, comfortable bucket seats, very responsive engine, the classic look of the dash and center console, the original factory tach on the console and much more all add to that pleasure. Now for the nuts and bolts of this classic. People fell in love with the 442 on it's inception. The manual 4-speed, 4 barrel carb' and dual exhaust made up the 4-4-2. With the call for an automatic version of the 442, Oldsmobile came up with a solution to keep the first "4" of the equation. In 1965 they put in a 400ci engine. The code on the engine dictates that our car has the 400 engine that came with it from '65. So...1965 was the first year for the automatic option on the 442 and we have one on our showroom floor. We are also lucky enough to have the Owners Manual, the Owners Manual for the Power Top and the coveted Protect-O-Plate.In summary, this car is a great driving and looking car.
