Vehicle Description
This 1958 Apache is a "big back window", short box fleetside model, making it more sought after than most. The chassis has been overhauled, with new brakes, brake and fuel lines, shocks, etc. With a healthy 350 cubic inch chevy engine, and a 700R4 automatic transmission with overdrive, this truck is comfortable around town, or on the highway. There appears to have been little done in the way of body and paint work over its lifetime, leaving the exterior vastly original.
Some rust is present in the cab corners and the integrated running boards, but on the whole the truck is very solid. We have driven the truck a few hundred miles which were enjoyable and trouble-free. Drive it or restore it!
