Vehicle Description
STK 2133 1938 Cadillac Series 60 The Cadillac Series 60 was
Cadillac's mid-priced entry in the luxury vehicle market. Debuting
in 1936, it filled the price gap between the LaSalle and Series 70
Cadillac models. The Series 60 became the company's best-selling
model, making up half of all Cadillacs sold. Production of the
Series 60 ceased after the 1938 model year when the Series 61
superseded it in 1939. Our very original 38 Series 60 Sedan has had
only 2 owners in 78 years (current owner - the last 25 years). The
exterior features a Harley Earl design with a tall, slender grille,
split v-shaped windshield and Fisher Body's Turret Top one-piece
roof. The chassis features Bendis dual-servo drum brakes and the
innovative Knee-Action independent suspension that was first
introduced by Cadillac in 1934. Under the hood is a rebuilt
flathead Monoblock V8 and 3-speed manual gearbox. This 346 ci
(5.3L) engine produces 135 bph. The original body (black paint) is
in pretty good condition for age 78. Wide-whites on factory wheels
with chrome wheel covers provide a nice accent. The tan cloth
interior is also original and still in fair condition. This classic
Cadillac Series 60 Sedan could be easily restored or just
comfortably enjoyed as a nice driver. Call 800-650-1055 or visit
