Vehicle Description
STK 2045 1956 Chevy 150 Sedan If you went to your Chevy dealer in
1956 and filled out the order form correctly, you could create a
nice little factory street rod. Back then, the optional PowerPack
performance engine was a 265ci small-block with 2x4-barrel
carburetors. Mated with a 3-speed manual transmission, you had the
performance machine of the day. That was then - this teal '56 Chevy
Model 150 is now. Our fully restored 2-door post is a serious
street rod. Under the hood, lives a Summit Racing built 350
small-block designed to make the best of that 164 B&M puffer.
This belt driven super-charger is fed by a Holley 750cfm
double-pumper. Exhaust exits through full-tube headers. All this
fits neatly under a stock hood. A Muncie M-21 4-speed backs up this
potent motor. Rear axles and ring gearing are provided by Eaton. We
believe the axle ratio to be at 3.70:1. The entire restoration
process was completed in 2011. A very solid body was prepped and
finished with beautiful Teal paint. Chrome bumpers and trim pieces
are all in very good condition. The tan cloth and vinyl interior is
also in good condition, showing very little wear. The dash was
carefully redesigned to support a full compliment of gauges/tach.
Underneath, a solid chassis with power steering and power disc/drum
brakes supports the entire package. American racing wheels accent a
very subtle raked stance - period correct for 1956. If you want to
have some fun, come take a ride in this Chevy 150. You just may
take it home! Call 800-650-1055 or visit
