1965 Pontiac GTO Tri-Power 4-Speed Starlight Black with Black Interior Our Seller has Owned for 29 Years You ll be proud to show and drive this GTO. The restoration is about 30 years old and looks amazing! The mileage showing on the odometer is 24,803, and when our seller purchased it in July of 1987, it had 14,753. Not many miles over 29 years, however, it s easily understood with limited summer use, multiple cars, and a busy work life. The previous owner purchased the car in Texas and brought it back to Northern Michigan to restore it. Our seller bought it after the restoration and has made every effort to maintain it s condition. When new, this GTO was originally delivered to a Pontiac Dealer in the Southwest region. We have the PHS to support the factory build, which when new, was the 389 CID 4BBL with the 4-Speed M20 and the 3.23 rear end. It came off the line finished in Capri Gold with a Black interior. Options included the Rally Gauge Cluster and Tachometer; AM Radio with a manual antenna; Back-Up Lamps; Safe -T-Track Rear Axle (Posi) and the 4-speed synchromesh transmission. The restoration process 30 years ago included making changes and improvements that will be appreciated by most. Although it started life as factory built GTO with a 4 speed, many options were added. With a super straight body to work with, the color was changed to Starlight Black.
