1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible For Sale - 1 of 138 Ever
Built, 383 Magnum LMC is very proud to offer for sale this 1970
Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible. The incredible popularity of the
Dodge Challenger is unmistakable. The Dodge E-body has often been
regarded as one of the best-looking designs to emerge from the
muscle car era. As is often the case, in 1970 when the cars were
new, convertibles were seen as too heavy for their real purpose,
but today they have become the most sought after due to their
rarity and in the case of the Challenger, their fantastic looks.
Especially when combined with one of Dodge's High Impact Colors.
This 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible left the Hamtramck,
Michigan Assembly Line on December 12. Powered by the numbers
matching 383 Magnum engine with a 4-speed Pistol Grip manual
transmission, it is 1 of only 138 1970 Challenger R/T Convertibles
produced with the 383 and 4-speed combo. It left the factory with
the highly desirable "high impact" FC7 Plum Crazy Metallic paint,
which cost an extra $14 at the time of purchase. This R/T has many
desirable options such as; a power convertible top, power brakes,
power steering, Woodgrain Console, Rallye Instrument Cluster
Package, Light Package, Black Vinyl Bucket Seats, Dual Chrome Tip
Exhausts, Sport Hood, and AM Radio with 8 Track. Today, the
Challenger is in wonderful condition with the paint shining very
well and the interior equally as nice. The detailed engine bay
looks clean and correct as well does the undercarriage. The power
steering, brakes, and top ensure that this Challenger R/T can be
driven without much effort, to provide a joyful experience behind
the wheel of such an iconic American Muscle car. This is a very
rare American icon, with only 138 being produced with this
combination. Loaded with desirable options, and a spectacular FC7
Plum Crazy Metallic Paint, this Challenger R/T Convertible is the
