Based on the same principle as the Shelby Cobras of the 1960s, the car had a lightweight body and a high horsepower engine which made for a enthusiast driver's dream. The beating heart of the beast is an 8.0 Liter V10 Chrysler developed with help from Lamborghini. This stout power plant puts out 415 horsepower in this application. With a whopping 488 lb ft of torque, these cars are known for being a bit unruly for the inexperienced driver. In the right hands of course, they're absolute track monsters. Backing the V10 is a 6 speed manual transmission and rear wheel drive. The body used a tubular steel frame with fiberglass panels. Interior appointments were sparse, with performance being the focus of this car. This particular Viper does come equipped with AC, a hard top, soft top, and side curtains. Most would agree the most enjoyable way to use the car is in open air form. Nothing beats the sound of that V10 revving through the gears. This one sports a rare color combo with white base and blue stripes. The interior is black leather with blue accents. The wheels are color matched to the white for a unique look.
