Each month the restoration team would feature the car in different stages of the project, one month on the engine, one on the transmission, one on the body, and so on. When the restoration was complete, they drove the car from Los Angeles to St. Louis to give it away at the 1985 Car Craft Street Machine Nationals. In 2012 it is was bought by its current owner, and underwent its second total restoration. No expense was spared in this professionally completed restoration. They wanted to salute the Car Craft restoration team and keep it exactly as they had finished it, even down to the slightly brighter B5 Blue metallic they used in 1985. The painter made 33 samples to match the color perfectly. This Dart was feature in Car Craft Magazine in 2014 for the 9th time. A copy of all 9 Car Craft magazines is included with the car for the new owner to display at shows. The odometer on this Dodge Dart reads 27,766, the actual mileage is unknown, and only 500 miles have been enjoyed since the car was restored in 2014.
