Still, it commanded just a three-year run from 1994 to 1996. The 96’ Impala looks menacing with regular big 17-inch alloy wheels having monochromatic paint, and other standard features such as alternating windshield wipers, a rear spoiler, and tinted glass. The Chevrolet Impala SS 1996 model was the closing year of the Impala Super Sport and it was the sole model having analog gauges rather than digital and the shifter located in the center console instead of having it in the steering column.
