Vehicle Description

1934 Ford Sedan Custom

When it comes to these old street rods steel is king! At first glance this may look like a glass car but that is only because the body modifications were so expertly crafted that it is hard to believe someone could actually achieve it with steel. The amount of hours spent transforming the Henry Ford steel body into what it is today is immeasurable. The top has been chopped 5 inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear for the perfect slope that is extreme enough to catch your eye but not so overdone to interfere with it being drivable. The body was sectioned and channeled 3 inches and the B pillars tilted forward. A custom rear swing out door was added as well as a 33 Ford grill. The designer of the car really had a clear vision of the final look and executed it to extreme detail. It was so well done with such smooth paint that finding where cuts were made is impossible. It truly looks like it was created that way originally. The subtle details really show the quality of the build and is why it is easily one of the top street rods in the country. For instance, the recesses in the roof are the perfect accent and line up with the recesses in the hood making it clear this wasn't just a random project to throw customizations add but a well thought out piece of art. The paint is absolutely beautiful with a dark Gray and Maroon combo that looks perfect. Separating the two tone is a thin Orange strip which ties into the Tan interior. It has an incredibly smooth finish and is laser straight. All of the glass on the car has the factory tinting and every piece is tempered with polished edges. The car has a very tough stance and the Nitro custom wheels fit with the overall look perfectly.

The car is pictured without side panels to show off the very nicely built ZZ 383 motor under the hood. These side panels do come with the car but it typically gets shown with them off. The motor puts out 425hp with 450 lbs of torque and runs extremely well. It is topped with billet and chrome components throughout making it look just as good as it drives. It has been fitted with a Powerjection III polished fuel injection system and an MSD ready to run distributor. The cooling system features a walker Radiator and electric fan to eliminate any heating issues. The car has a great sound with dual Flowmasters that empty right behind the rear end. Paired with the motor is a 700R automatic transmission with Genie shifter. The car sits on a TCI frame and up front is a TCI independent suspension with anti-sway bar and Wilwood disc brakes. In back is a Winters Championship quick change independent polish billet rear end that features Wilwood disc brakes and 3.84 gears. An American Autowire Highway 22 kit was used for the electrical so you know it was done right. The car isn't just all looks and no power because the drivetrain and suspension was all just as well built as the rest.

You can't have such a striking exterior without creating an interior to match so it is custom throughout as well. It is complete in a Tan ultra leather that is just as plush and comfortable as it looks. The interior looks like it belongs in a Mercedes or Ferrari, it is that nice. The seats incorporate thin Gray inserts to match the close loop wool carpeting and custom center console. The console houses the AC controls, emergency brake handle, swan neck shifter with custom skull knob and Kenwood stereo face. An MB Quartz amp is custom mounted in the rear package tray as well as custom mounted speakers. The layout of the interior was very well done and the rear package tray is extremely cool with beautiful upholstery work and custom made billet trim. The dash of the car is done in the same Gray as the body and is topped with Autometer American Muscle gauges in a billet bezel. In front of the driver you will find the Ididit tilt steering column topped with a billet wheel that was half wrapped in the same Tan ultra leather. The headliner has been done in leather as well with an overhead light, Gray insert and custom trim. This 34 Custom Sedan is one of a kind and being original steel really separates it from a lot of others out there. If you are ready to win awards in a custom street rod this is the car for you!
