Vehicle Description
Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a very unique 1934 Chevrolet Pickup. This truck has been tastefully customized including many hours of custom metal work and some beautiful finish work. The truck features a rebuilt 401 Buick Nailhead which has been bored .030 over and had an aftermarket camshaft added. It has the Buick dual quad set up which feeds this beast. It exhales through a sweet set of headers so everyone can hear you coming. It has a rebuilt Buick Turbo 400 transmission which runs to a Ford 9" rear end with 3.50 gears. This hot rod has tons of old school touches like the finned drum brakes and the super cool "Ok Pass" light on the back. It has some high attitude Hurst racing tires which add to the look. Inside you'll find some handmade aluminum seats with custom leather cushions. This gives the truck and industrial or aircraft look. Adding to this is an awesome set of Air Craft style gauges from Classic Instruments. Drilled out doors resemble something you'd see in a race car or a military vehicle. This rod is certainly a nod to classic styling with modern finishes. The exterior includes a satin silver, a glossy black roof, and color matched silver bed liner for the bed.
