This is truly one on finest examples you will even find with only 93K original miles on it. This beauty has been beautifully restored from front to back. It is believed to have been a one-owner car up until about a year ago and when the original owner pasted away and the family sold the car through his estate. This C300 is without a doubt "One of the nicest ‘55 Chrysler C300 Coupe’s around, period". It has gorgeous white paint finish which looks amazing with the stunning “natural cowhide” leather interior. According to the Chrysler 300 club only about 200 of these cars are known to exist anymore!!
The America’s first mass-produced 300-horsepower car was the legendary 1955 Chrysler C-300 coupe, which many consider America’s first high-performance auto for the general public. Only the limited-production, custom-body 1930s Duesenberg, built for the very wealthy, had provided such power. The 1955 Hemi 300’s 331.1-cubic-inch Hemi was modified like Hemi V-8s used in successful early 1950s race cars, with such power-enhancing items as two four-barrel carburetors, a competition camshaft and solid valve lifters. Solid lifters were more efficient than the hydraulic ones used in other Chrysler V-8s, but were noisier. The camshaft also caused a rather rough engine idle, although not an intolerable one. The exhaust system generated a rumbling sound. It soon became clear that this was no car to mess with. The 1955 300 was virtually unbeatable in competition that year, winning its first NASCAR Grand National race. It took the checkered flag at 37 NASCAR and AAA races of more than 100 miles. The 1957-58 300C/300D looked sleeker and was more powerful than the 1955 C-300, but there’s no topping the 1955 300 because there’s no topping an original.
I have had the privilege of selling many of these cars but have rarely come across one as nice as this one here. This example was the first and start of the very coveted Chrysler letter cars and with only 1,692 produced it is prized by serious car collectors!

It has a beautiful, like new interior that is finished in natural cowhide genuine leather and looks stunning. Some of interior is original like the door panels and headliner which both are excellent. All the chrome and trim on the dash is bright and clean as new. The whole dash looks stunning. Inside the trunk is all refinished with its original trunk material and the original wire wheel spar and possibly original spare tires. It is like sitting in a time capsule!!
Mechanically, the engine and transmission run flawlessly! This 300 runs and drives with no issues at all! The original 331.1ci 300hp Hemi V8 engine purrs like a kitten and runs out excellent mated to its Powerflite automatic transmission. The car fires right up and runs, as it was new.
