This 1988 Porsche Carrera Cabriolet is a four-owner vehicle with the current owner, our client, owning it for the past eight years. He is also the Western Michigan Regional Executive for the SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) and has cared for this car like a firstborn son.
This Porsche is finished in the original Grand Prix White paint with a Black Convertible Top over a Black and Burgundy Leather interior. The convertible top and tonneau cover have been recently replaced with no signs of wear or discoloration. The car is powered by the original air-cooled 3.2L H6 rear-mounted engine mated to a 5-speed manual G50 gearbox with rear-wheel drive. Other noteworthy features include functioning AC, Cruise Control, and Blaupunkt Radio/Cassette with Twin Alpine Amps mounted in the boot. It also has the Turbo look with the Whale Tail and Euro Front Chin Spoiler, Euro H4 80/100 watt Headlamps and Rear Fog Lamp, Yokohama Advan S3 tires wrapped on Original Fuch Wheels, new front and rear brakes, front and rear HD Bilstein Shocks, Momo Steering Wheel, and a professionally mounted Halon Fire Extinguisher. Being an SCCA car, it has to uphold high performance standards, which you are evident when driving this car. It starts on command, shifts smooth, and handles like you would expect from a dialed-in 911. ALL maintenance records have been documented and are available with purchase (see photos). It also comes with a box full of extra parts, car cover, and original steering wheel. The car has a clean title and CarFax report as well.
