Up for sale we have a 1966 Ford Mustang GT Fastback A Code. This is a well done car that has a lot to offer with a Four Speed, Air Condition, Disc Brakes, and Power Steering. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of the Ford, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the Mustang. The body is straight as an arrow with good fit of the panels. When this car was restored it had new bumpers installed along with other trim and chrome. The weather stripping was also replaced. This '66 has the factory driving lights along with the exhaust trumpets in the rear valance. All the glass looks good with nice seals. We were told the paint on this Mustang was done over 20 years ago. It's just hard to believe as the Raven Black is slick and in the jams and trunk it looks as it should. This is a factory Raven Black car that is accented by the White GT Stripes and a set of Chrome Steel Rallys.
Next, we will take a look at the interior of the '66. On the inside it's done in the Parchment Pony interior, which is the factory option for this Mustang. It has the deluxe door panels and the carpet as well as the dash is done in black. Also it has the console with the factory style shifter that has the lock out reverse. With it having the deluxe style interior it has the wood grain instrument bezels and glove box door. This Mustang does have the gauge pack instruments with a 140MPH Speed. The radio is the AM 8 Track and it has the remote driver mirror. To finish off the interior it has the factory under dash AC Unit and seat belts.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of the Ford. Under the hood it's powered by the 289 225HP V8 with the factor Four Speed Trans and 8" Ford Rear End. The engine is dressed with factory style chrome valve covers and breather. This Mustang retains the stock cast Four Barrel Intake and Motorcraft Carb. It has dual exhaust with stock manifolds. Under the front it has the large sway bar and the four piston caliber on the disc brakes with drums out back. Also this '66 has Factory Power Steering and Factory A/C. When you look under the bottom the floors look good having been cleaned and painted.
